Endless Runner

Except it's a fish so it's not really running

Endless Runner: Welcome

When tasked to make an endless runner, I decided to make a game with as much variation as possible, whilst maintaining the functionality of being played on handheld devices and computers alike, the conclusion was this game. A tap, or a click will cause the fish to jump, holding will cause it to jump for longer. Whenever the fish jumps it will either grow or shrink, depending on its current state, a smaller fish can jump for longer distances to clear the sharks, and a larger fish can jump higher to clear the seaweed, so the player has to prepare in advance to adequately make the correct jump. The game was created using the Awesome Sauce Game Engine, a low-level engine created by James Huxtable.
